Two arrested following police stop in Norwich

Police arrested two people after stopping a car in Norwich yesterday afternoon.

Officers from the Roads and Armed Policing Team and dog units stopped a silver Lexus on Earlham Road at 1pm.

Officers removed items from the vehicle to allow for a thorough search to be carried out. A dog was safely taken to police approved kennels and later picked up by the owner.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and drug driving. He was interviewed at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and bailed to 23 February 2026 for possession with intent to supply. He will face no further action for drug driving.

A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. She was interviewed at Wymondham PIC and has been bailed to 23 February 2026.
