Woman, 77, left with 'potentially life-changing' injuries after collision with truck in Bury

An elderly woman was rushed to hospital with 'potentially life-changing injuries' after being hit by a truck in Bury.

The collision, between a Renault truck and a pedestrian, happened between Walmersley Road and Birch Street on Friday 24 October.

The pedestrian, a 77-year-old woman, was seriously hurt during the incident.

Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses and information. The force is also keen to hear from anyone who may have ant CCTV footage, including dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
