Bolton teenager at centre of huge search found in Manchester
The 13-year-old was reported missing last Friday (11 September)
A 13-year-old girl from Bolton who went missing for eight days has been found safe and well in Manchester city centre.
Her disappearance sparked a huge police investigation, which led to reports of several public sightings.
Posters of the girl were put up in Piccadilly Gardens on Saturday (19 September), just hours before she was found.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our missing appeal for the 13-year-old, who has been missing since Friday September 11, 2026.
"We can confirm she has been found safe and well in the city centre.
"She is currently with our officers, and her next-of-kin have been informed of this update. We will release more information in due course."
