Officers responded to reports of suspicious activity involving an abandoned vehicle in Stockport, leading to the arrest of six individuals.
A white Fiat Ducato van, which appeared to have been doused in bleach, was discovered on Mile End Lane at approximately 11.34pm on Friday 21st August 2026.
Police investigations utilised intelligence and ANPR footage, identifying the van travelling alongside a green Land Rover Discovery and an Audi S4 before being abandoned.

Six people were apprehended under suspicion of theft and driving offences.
