An investigation is underway after shots were fired on a street in Salford.

It's believed someone on a motorbike fired a gun at a house on Queen Street in Little Hulton just before 6pm on Friday.

Police say thankfully no injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made yet.

Detectives are appealing to the public for information.

They are also particularly keen to speak to anyone who has doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.

Detective Inspector Justin Bryant said:

“This incident will undoubtedly cause concern for those who live and work in the Little Hulton, and Salford as a whole.

“We strongly believe that this incident was targeted, with no wider threats to the public. Officers will be present in the area to reassure our local communities and are there to listen to any of your concerns.

“Your information, no matter how small you think it may seem, could prove invaluable to our ongoing investigation.
