Three men are in hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Radcliffe.
A Vauxhall Astra failed to stop for officers on Stand Lane in Radcliffe, Bury, at around 10pm last night (24 September).
A short pursuit took place, and the Vauxhall collided with a member of the public’s vehicle before coming to a complete stop.
The three men – an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old and 21-year-old - were treated at the scene by healthcare professionals and then taken to hospital, where they remain in serious injuries.
The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault, not related to this incident.
The 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion dangerous driving and failing to stop for police and the 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
