Man killed in horror M60 crash pictured for first time
David Shepherd was killed in a crash involving two cars and a motorbike near Salford earlier this month
A motorcyclist who died in a crash which shut the M60 for around 12 hours has been pictured for the first time.
David Shepherd, 59, was fatally injured in the collision, which involved two cars and a bike between junctions 15 and 16 near Salford on Sunday 12 October.
The motorway was shut at around 18:15BST that night, and didn't reopen until around 07:30BST on Monday 13 October.
Two drivers arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving have been released on bail as police continue their investigations.
Paying tribute, David's family said: "“He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, partner and friend to all. David embraced life with a boyish charm and a smile on his face.
“He lived each day as it came and brightened the lives of everyone around him. He will forever be in our hearts."
Greater Manchester Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
