Skinner leaves Man United Women after five years in charge
Marc Skinner has left his position as head coach of Manchester United Women, the club have confirmed by mutual agreement.
Skinner began his tenure at Manchester United in 2021 and led the team to four domestic cup finals in four seasons, achieving the club's first major honour in women's football by winning the 2024 FA Cup.
Under his leadership, Manchester United Women finished as runners-up in the 2022–23 Women's Super League and secured qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League - a milestone achieved for the first time in the club's history.
Additionally, last season saw the team reach its first League Cup final, as well as advancing to the quarter-finals in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
