Officers investigating a serious assault in Manchester City Centre continue their appeal after a man was left with life-threatening injuries.

It happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday (May 7) outside a pub on Dantzic Street.

They've now released further images of a man and a women they'd like to speak to after a man in his 30s was attacked.

Detective Inspector Mark Astbury, from GMP’s City of Manchester district, said: “We are continuing to investigate a serious assault which has left a man in critical condition in hospital.

“We are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident, and what led to it taking place.

“If anyone has any information, I would urge them to get in touch with us, either directly or anonymously.”
