Man fighting for life after e-bike and Tesla crash in Leigh

It happened on Holden Road at around 5pm on Friday

A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Leigh.

Officers were called to Holden Road at around 5pm on Friday 31st July 2026.

The crash involved a Sur-Ron electric bike and a Tesla.

The rider of the Sur-Ron, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries are described as life-threatening.

Appeal for witnesses

Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for information.

This includes anyone who saw the crash happen.

Officers are also asking anyone with CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage from the area to come forward.
