Man charged with murder and attempted murder after Rochdale crashes
A woman has died after collisions in Rochdale
A man has been charged with murder and five counts of attempted murder following a series of road traffic collisions in Rochdale.
Keith Micheal Knight, born 21 January 1976 and of no fixed abode, has been remanded into police custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 6 May 2025.
The charges relate to three incidents that occurred on Saturday 3 May 2025, at the junction of Bury Road and Woodgate Avenue, Bury Road and Broadhalgh Road, and on Whitworth Road near St Marys Gate.
A woman who sustained serious injuries in one of the collisions died in hospital on Sunday 4 May.
Greater Manchester Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incidents.
