Man charged with attempted rape of two women in Rochdale

A man has been charged with attempted rape after two women reported being assaulted in Rochdale.
Greater Manchester Police received two reports of sexual assault from victims on Saturday morning, nearly an hour-and-a-half apart.
Harvey Symes, 23, described by police as a black British national, has been charged with two counts of attempted rape and making threats to kill.
At 6.15am, officers received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted in Broadfield Park.
A second report was made by a different woman who alleged she had been assaulted in Milnrow Memorial Park at 8.38am.
Symes, of Milnrow, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
