Detectives investigating a serious assault near Macclesfield have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Police were called to a public house in Langley at around 1pm on Sunday 24 August, after reports that a 26-year-old man had been seriously assaulted.
Richard Bradbury, aged 32 and from Brocklehurst Avenue in Macclesfield, was arrested shortly afterwards.
He has since been charged with section 18 assault.
Bradbury appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 30 August, where he was remanded in custody.
He is next due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 29 September.
