Man arrested after incident in Worsley
Greater Manchester Police say they've arrested a man in his 30s
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in Worsley this lunchtime (30th December).
Officers were called to Worsley Road, close to Mill Brow and near The Delph Bar and Restaurant in Worsley earlier today.
It's not yet clear what the weapon was, but it's understood not to be firearms related.
At least 5 police cars were seen at the scene earlier, and in a statement, Greater Manchester Police say "Officers have arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon."
