20-year-old driver dies after car crash in High Peak
No other vehicles or people were involved in the collision
A man has died after his car hit a wall in High Peak.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Batham Gate, Smalldale, shortly after 7am on Monday (December 22).
A silver Skoda Fabia was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Despite resuscitation attempts, the 20-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A file is being prepared for the coroner while the driver's family has been told.
