Drivers warned of three months of M60 delays
National Highway is beginning work to replace a safety barrier between J16 Clifton and J18 Simister Island
Drivers are being warned of three months of delays on the M60, as the speed limit on the busy motorway is reduced to 50mph.
National Highways is beginning safety work to replace a safety barrier on a section of the road between J16 for Clifton and J18 for Simister Island.
Most of the work will take place overnight, but lanes will be narrowed and the speed limit dropped as a "safety measure".
Any delays are expected to be minor, but drivers are being urged to plan journeys and allow for extra time.
