Crash in Salford leaves one dead and another with serious injuries
Greater Manchester Police are asking people to avoid the area
Police have confirmed that a person has died following a single vehicle crash on Cadishead Way near to Irlam Locks in Salford.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police say they were called to the scene at around 7.15am this morning (31st).
Investigations are continuing into how the crash occurred but it's believed to have involved a single vehicle.
Police say a person has died, but they have not yet been formally identified and that a second person is being treated for serious injuries.
