CCTV appeal after incident before United v FC Twente match

It happened on Deansgate, the day before the game in September 2024

Police are appealing to identify six men after an incident before a football match last year.

It happened back on the 24th of September on Deansgate, a day ahead of United's fixture with FC Twente.

17 people have so far been arrested - and we're told investigations are continuing.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "We are appealing for information to identify these six individuals in relation to violent disorder that occurred on the evening of Tuesday 24 September 2024 on Deansgate, Manchester City Centre.

"This was the day before fixture between Manchester United and FC Twente.

"So far, we have already made 17 arrests in relation to the disorder, with those individuals remaining on police bail whilst our investigations continue.

"Anyone with information should contact us on 101, or by reporting online, quoting our dedicated log 325 of 11/12/24."
