13-year-old boy taken to hospital after reported stabbing outside Manchester Arndale
Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of affray
A 13-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after a reported stabbing outside the Arndale Centre in Manchester.
Police said officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Market Street, outside the Arndale Centre, at 7pm on 27th October.
The boy was found and taken to hospital, police said.
Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 14, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
They remain in custody for questioning.
It's the third time in under two weeks that police have been called to the Arndale over a knife attack.
Earlier this month, a fourteen-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing in the car park, and two boys the same age were arrested and released on bail.
A week later, officers were called back over an assault involving a knife, and one of the two teenagers arrested has since been charged.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
