Bob Vylan Manchester concert postponed after backlash
The show was due to take place next month
A planned concert in Manchester by punk duo Bob Vylan has been postponed following calls for the venue to cancel the event.
The show was due to take place next month at Manchester Academy but will now be held sometime next year.
It comes after 10 MPs and the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester raised concerns following a terror attack at a synagogue three weeks ago.
The group had urged the venue to cancel the gig, pointing to a moment during the band’s Glastonbury set in June when lead singer Bobby Vylan chanted “death” to Israel’s military.
