A 47 year old is due in court
A 47 year old woman is due in court later following a stabbing attack in central London
Four men were hurt yesterday in Covent Garden yesterday lunchtime. They were all taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life changing or threatening and have since been discharged.
Stella Gollovena, of no fixed address, is charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
She is expected to appear at Highbury Corner magistrates later
An air ambulance helicopter landed in a packed Trafalgar Square on Wednesday afternoon, but London Ambulance Service, which was called out at 12.29pm, later said it had “treated four patients at the scene and took them all to a major trauma centre as a priority by road”.
The Met said the four men were aged 34, 39, 42 and 56
