Two men charged in Clapham murder investigation
Suspects linked to fatal stabbing incident
Two men have been charged in connection with a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in Clapham.
The police were alerted at 04:37 on Saturday, 25th July, when the victim was reported to have attended a hospital with a stab wound.
Despite efforts by medical professionals, the victim tragically died from his injuries.
His family is being supported by specialist officers.
The murder investigation identified Tremadoc Road in Clapham as the location of the incident.
The authorities quickly arrested six individuals on suspicion of murder.
Javed Khan, 22, from Maskell Road, Wandsworth, faces charges of murder and violent disorder.
Adonay Berhan, 27, from Mason's Avenue, Croydon, is charged with assisting an offender.
Both men will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 27th July.
A 25-year-old man also arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody after receiving hospital treatment for minor injuries.
Three other individuals, who were initially arrested, have been released with no further action following further enquiries.
