Three men arrested death of a woman in Romford
The victim, believed to be in her twenties, died over the weekend
Met officers are continuing to question three men in connection with the death of a woman in Romford.
They were called to reports of an assault in Chadwell Heath Lane, around 5:30am on Saturday.
The woman died at the scene.
While she is yet to be formally identified, officers believe the victim was in her twenties, and her family have been informed.
A 35-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder, as well as a 21-year-old and 22-year-old arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Enquiries are continuing, but officers believe those involved are known to each other, and that it's an isolate incident.
An increased police presence in the area is continuing over the coming days, with an appeal for information underway.
