A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murder after 17-year-old David Wynter was fatally stabbed at the Brent Civic Centre in Wembley, north-west London.
The incident occurred shortly before 2:30pm on Tuesday, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The unnamed boy, who cannot be identified due to legal reasons, was presented at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
He faces charges of murder and possession of a knife in a public place.
During the brief hearing, the youth confirmed his name, address, and date of birth, and was subsequently remanded in custody.
The case has been transferred to the Old Bailey for further proceedings.
Meanwhile, specially trained officers from the Met are providing support to the victim's next-of-kin.
