Man charged with murder after Lavender Hill stabbing

Met detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Wandsworth have charged a man with murder.

19-year-old Rinneau Perrineau died in hospital on Friday, after being found with stab wounds on Lavender Hill on Tuesday 21st October.

His family are being supported by specialist officers.

25-year-old Muhammed Cabdiqaadir of Hope Street, Wandsworth, is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today, also charged with possession of a bladed object.

A 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder last Friday has since been released on bail.

Officers say their investigation remains ongoing.
