Man charged with Camden murder after being extradited from France

The charge relates to a fatal stabbing in December 2023

A man has been charged with a Camden murder, after extradition from France.

29-year-old Ahmed Ali Jama died was found with stab wounds near Gaymead on the evening of December 29th, 2023. He was taken from the Abbey Estate, in Abbey Road, to hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Now, the Metropolitan Police say 22-year-old Arlind Hashani, of Bray Fellows Road, has been charged with murder, following extradition from France.

He was arrested in Paris on July 30.

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday 15 August, and was remanded in custody to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday, 19 August.
