Fifteen fire engines and around a hundred firefighters are dealing with a large fire in south-east London.

Crews were called to a recycling centre in Landmann Way in Bermondsey.

The London Fire Brigade's warning people to avoid the area and keep windows and doors shut because of heavy smoke.

Two of the Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders have been deployed to the scene to help fight the fire from above.

Control Officers took the first of multiple calls at 1732 and have mobilised crews from Deptford, Old Kent Road, Greenwich and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
