People across London are being warned of potential disruption this weekend as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
Meteorologists say heavy snow and some freezing rain in places may cause disruption.
It comes into force at midday on Saturday and is due to be in place until the end of Sunday.
They say there's a small risk of power cuts in places and other services such as mobile phone coverage could be impacted.
The Met Office is also warning there's a small chance of injuries due to slips and falls on icy surfaces, and added travel services may be impacted by delays.
Dangerous driving conditions may be seen in places with ice making surfaces slippery.
In other parts of the country and more severe amber warning has been issued for much of England and Wales with 40cm of snow expected in some places.
We're also being warned of very low temperatures with lows of nearly minus nine degrees recorded in Aberdeenshire overnight on Friday.
People are being urged to check on those who might be vulnerable to the cold and take care when travelling.
