A homeless man, accused of battering a woman to death with a mallet in west London, days after she took him in, has admitted her murder.

The court was told the 37 year old invited Apapale Adoum to stay at her home after meeting him on 6th of February, but that she'd later written a note asking him to leave.
Police were called to her flat three days later to reports that someone was trying to break into the property on Coulter Road
Ms Adams's body was found there and 39 year old Adoum was arrested at the scene
Ms Adams had suffered at least 10 separate injuries to the back and side of the head from being struck with a blunt object, said to be a mallet found with her blood and DNA on it.
He appeared at the Old Bailey and pleaded guilty to murder
Adjourning sentencing, Judge Nigel Lickley KC told the defendant: "The sentence for murder is a life sentence and that is what I will pass on October 24."
The defendant was remanded into custody.
