Teenagers arrested after fatal stabbing in Feltham
A murder investigation is underway
Two 16 year old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing in west London
Emergency crews were called to Victoria Road in Feltham where an 18 year old had been attacked last night at around 5pm
He was taken to hospital where he later died
Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, who is leading the investigation, said:
“Firstly, I would like to share my deepest condolences with the victim’s friends and family during this hugely difficult time.
“We understand that this incident has been distressing for the local community. I want to reassure the public that this investigation is a priority for us and I hope it offers some reassurance to know we have made three arrests.
“Residents may see an increased police presence in the area as we undertake further enquires, however at this time we are confident there is no risk to the local community.”
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon on 12 January. Another 16-year old boy was arrested on suspicion of the same offences on Tuesday, 13 January. They both remain in police custody.
A 19-year-old man also remains in custody having been arrested on 13 January on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. The GBH arrest relates to an allegation of assault on one of the 16-year-old boys arrested. The boy was treated for minor injuries before being arrested.
