Moped rider dies in crash in Kingston
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the fatal crash to come forwards
A man's died in a crash in Kingston in London.
Police were called to Wood Street at around 11.37pm on Saturday 7th February to reports of a crash between a car and a moped.
Sadly the rider, a 22 year-old man, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, described as dark in colour, failed to stop at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to find them with anyone who saw what happened urged to get in touch with police.
Specialist officers are supporting the family and no arrests have been made yet.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information, including dash cam footage, to call police on 101 quoting CAD 8352/07FEB26.
