‘Bobby’ county line dealers jailed
The males were sentenced at Croydon Crown Court last week
Two men who ran the ‘Bobby’ county line from London into Surrey, have been jailed for a combined total of 10 years and 8 months after they were found guilty of a string of drug offences at Croydon Crown Court last Monday (14 July).
Adrece Hussain, 27, of Eastbourne Road in Hounslow, was sentenced to five years, six months and one day, after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, and the acquired use or possession of criminal property.
Connor Woodburn-Hall, 28, of Lionel Road North in Hounslow, was sentenced to five years and two months, after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, and the acquired use or possession of criminal property.
The duo had previously run the ‘Bobby’ line and were sentenced in 2021. After their release at the end of 2024, the line became active once again.
After data work was carried out on the pair’s phones following their arrests in March, officers were able to capture bulk marketing messages linked to the supply of drugs, mainly heroin and crack cocaine.
Further work, carried out by the Force’s County Line Drugs proactive team, was able to pinpoint the drugs line phone and link it to the personal phones of both individuals.
PC Tori Hall, of Surrey Police, said: "Hussain and Woodburn-Hall led a criminal lifestyle where they profited from the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. The pair continued that lifestyle as soon as they were out of prison, and started dealing again. This sentencing reflects the hard work that has gone into the investigation.
“As a Force we remain committed to disrupting drug-related offences and arresting those committing them. We know the impact that drugs can have on the community, in particular the exploitation of the vulnerable for the benefit of criminals. We thank the community for their support in reporting drug supply activity to police so we can take action.”
