Four men charged after Litherland shooting incident
Police investigate after shots fired at Sur-ron rider
Four men have been charged following a reported shooting in Litherland, Merseyside, after a group in a car allegedly fired at a man riding a Sur-ron bike.
Merseyside Police said the incident happened at around 4pm on Monday 23rd March on Fulwood Way. Officers received reports that a group of males inside a vehicle had shot at the rider. No injuries were reported, and enquiries are ongoing to locate the victim.
Four men charged
Following an investigation, four men have now been charged with firearms-related offences.
Adam Bigley, a 33-year-old of Portland Place, Liverpool, has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of ammunition, dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
Joseph Kidd, a 42-year-old of Portland Place, Liverpool, has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of ammunition.
Lee Nimbley, a 21-year-old of Stanley Park Avenue South, Liverpool, faces two counts of possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of ammunition.
Kenneth Quadrio, a 23-year-old of no fixed abode, has also been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of ammunition.
Court appearance and ongoing enquiries
All four men have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Wednesday 25th March.
Police are continuing their investigation and are appealing for information to help locate the Sur-ron rider involved in the incident.
