Four arrested following reports of fight in Tuebrook

Police are trying to track down a man who might have been injured

Four men have been arrested following reports of a fight in Tuebrook on Sunday 5th April.

Police were called at around 7.50am to reports of an altercation at the junction of Preston Grove and Rocky Lane.

They believe a man was hurt during the fight but he left the scene.

Merseyside Police say at this stage nobody has come forward or presented themselves at hospital with injuries so they're still trying the find the man to check he's alright.

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

An investigation is underway and house-to-house, CCTV and forensic enquiries are in the process of being carried out.

Detective Inspector Kerri Ward said: “Enquiries are continuing to establish what has taken place and we are attempting to locate the male who we believe may have been injured to ensure he is safe and well.

“Even though we have made arrests we would ask anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage or can assist with enquiries to contact us.”
