A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving
A 13-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Wallasey this morning.
Emergency services were called to Liscard Road at around 7.50am on Tuesday 21st October following reports of a crash involving a black Mitsubishi and a pedestrian.
The girl suffered a serious collarbone injury along with cuts and bruises to her leg and foot.
A 48-year-old man from Seacombe has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving – suspected cannabis – and is currently in police custody for questioning.
The road was closed earlier but has since reopened.
