Woman due in court after fatal collision at Sutton on Sea

A 29-year-old woman has been summoned to court, after the death of two passengers on the A52, in a collision at Sutton on Sea.

Amy Sheppard, of Mumby Road, Huttoft, is accused of two offences of causing death by careless driving and three offences of causing serious injury by careless driving.

The summons follows an investigation into a collision at Sutton on Sea which led to the deaths of her six-year-old and eight-year-old passengers on Monday, 2 October 2023.

The other rear seat passenger in this car and the three occupants of the other car were also seriously injured in the collision.

Ms Sheppard is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on 28 August 2025.
