Homes around Grantham have been affected by water supply cuts after problems with a water pump.

Anglian Water says it is because of an issue with a pump that pushes water around the network.

It's affecting homes in Grantham, Byards Leap, Allington and the surrounding areas.

Anglian Water says: "We’ve had to extend the time to get things back to normal because it's proving more complicated to fix than we first expected. Our team on the ground is working as fast as they can to get things sorted.

"We’ve had a few requests for bottled water since our pumps tripped earlier. We understand how frustrating it is when your water supply is affected, and we want to reassure you that we’re actively looking into all alternative supply options should they be needed.

"Right now, our top priority is fixing the issue and getting your water supply back to normal as quickly as possible. Our teams are closely monitoring the situation.
