Two arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

This followed reports of an altercation where it is alleged that threats to kill were made.

A 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were arrested at around midday on Saturday.

Lincolnshire police stated:

"Our force control room received a call from a member of the public who reported an altercation taking place on Woodhall Drive in Lincoln between the Coop and Fish King. A man is alleged to have produced what was reported to be a firearm from a rucksack, making threats to kill. A member of the public intervened before the suspect rode off on an e-bike."
