Three men arrested after alleged CS gas incident at Grimsby pub
Men detained following disturbance at Old Market Place
Three men have been taken into police custody after an incident at a pub on Old Market Place in Grimsby.
The disturbance occurred on the evening of 21st February 2026 and involved an alleged altercation between three men, during which one reportedly sprayed what is believed to be CS gas.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, resulting in two people being taken to the hospital.
One of the two individuals received treatment for minor injuries, and fortunately, no other serious injuries were reported.
The men, aged 44, 35, and 33, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Additionally, during the arrest, the 44-year-old is said to have assaulted two officers, leading to further charges for assaulting an emergency worker.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking assistance from witnesses or anyone with relevant footage.
