Man charged with attempted murder after Saxilby stabbing

32-year-old Thomas Smith has been charged with two counts of attempted murder

A man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after two people were left with stab wounds in Saxilby.

Emergency services were called out on New Year's Eve after reports of a serious assault at a property on Fallow Croft.

The pair were taken to hospital.

32-year-old Thomas Smith has been charged in connection with the incident and with multiple other offences including:

  • Two counts of attempted murder
  • Having no insurance
  • Having no license
  • Aggravated vehicle taking without consent

He has been remanded and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court today (2nd January).
