Police seek witnesses following assault in Sutton on Sea

Authorities are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 60s was assaulted on the steps leading from Roman Bank to the Promenade in Sandilands, Sutton on Sea.

The incident occurred between 12pm and 12.30pm on 31st July, resulting in injuries to the victim's face, arms, and legs.

A man in his 40s was arrested a few hours following the report but has been released on bail pending further investigation.

Detectives are particularly interested in dashcam footage that may have captured elements of the incident.
