Two men injured in serious Sutton Bridge assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault has left two men injured.

Police were called to Sutton Bridge at around 7.50pm last night (30 May), after reports of a fight, near The Curlew Centre.

One man in his 20’s has been taken to hospital with injuries believed to be caused by a knife.

His condition is not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

Three men, aged 20, 28 and 37 have been arrested on suspicion of GBH. They remain in custody.

Police are urging anyone with any information or recorded footage of the incident to get in touch.

Chief Inspector Richard Nethercott, Response and Neighbourhood Policing for Boston and South Holland, said: “I think the local community will be concerned when they hear the details of the incident last night.

"I can reassure people that we have those involved in custody and our officers will be speaking to them over the course of day and maybe longer.”
