Police are looking into reports of a suspected arson in Scunthorpe.
Emergency services were called to attend a farm on Holme Lane at around 7.30pm yesterday evening (Thursday, 3rd July).
Police say approximately 30 hay bales had been set alight inside the premises, causing extensive damage.
The fire was safely extinguished and thankfully nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses:
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved, and we would appeal to anyone with any information that may assist our enquiries to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting investigation reference 25*91903.
"This includes anyone who may have been in the area at the time, particularly dog walkers or others passing through who may be able to provide any information."
