Two men arrested in organised crime disruption operation in Spalding
That's following a number of plant, machinery and vehicle thefts in the county
Two men have been arrested after two warrants were carried out in Spalding as part of an organised criminal group disruption operation.
Officers entered two properties at 6.30am this morning (20th January) in the Evergreen and Clay Lake areas.
They sized property, including vehicles, which are believed to have been stolen.
They also found two cannabis grows.
Two men, a 21-year-old and 20-year-old, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal.
Detective Inspector Rebecca Fowler, who co-ordinated the enforcements said, “There have been a significant number of plant and other machinery and vehicle thefts across the county in recent months.
"The impact of these thefts on our rural communities has been considerable, both financially and emotionally.
"The financial burden and frustration these crimes cause is utterly unacceptable."
