Police seek witnesses after woman seriously injured in Skegness incident
Authorities request public help to identify 11 individuals who might assist investigations
Lincolnshire Police are appealing to the community to help identify potential witnesses following an incident in Skegness where a woman was seriously injured.
The woman, aged 21, sustained head injuries after reportedly being punched during an altercation near Buster’s Bar on Grand Parade at around 1am on 9th August.
She fell and hit her head on the pavement and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
A 53-year-old man from Nottingham has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody for questioning.
To aid in the investigation, police are seeking 11 potential witnesses believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident.
The potential witnesses are not in any trouble, but their perspectives may be valuable to the investigation's progress.

Witness 2: Short brown-haired man, open green t-shirt over black t-shirt, grey shorts
Witness 3: Woman with curly hair, black t-shirt and jeans, carrying a jacket
Witness 4: Dark-haired man, goatee, white t-shirt with "86", brown shorts
Witness 5: Woman with brown hair tied back, grey/blue long t-shirt, black joggers with stripe
Witness 6: Unknown person (male or female), black and white striped top, black trousers, with a dog
Witness 7: Man in black outfit, brown flat cap
Witness 8: Bald man, white t-shirt with black collar and cuffs, jeans
Witness 9: Man, white t-shirt, sunglasses attached, jeans
Witness 10: Woman, black dress and cardigan, sunglasses on head
Witness 11: Man, white shirt, grey jeans, glasses
Detective Chief Inspector Marc Horsewood emphasised the need to understand the sequence of events: "We are trying to establish exactly what happened in the lead up to and during this incident, which is why we are appealing for witnesses.”
