Man banned from Lincolnshire after doorstep selling without license
A 33-year-old man is on bail with a condition banning him from Lincolnshire
A door-to-door salesman's been banned from the entire county of Lincolnshire after he was caught selling in Skegness without a license.
The 33-year-old was arrested on Wednesday (3rd December) after multiple people reported him to the police.
When stopped by officers, he was unable to provide them with a pedlar's license.
He's been released on bail, with a condition banning him from Lincolnshire.
A Lincolnshire police spokesperson said, "If you encounter suspicious doorstep peddlers, report them by calling 101. Remember, if you are not expecting visitors, and if you’re not sure, you are not obligated to open the door."
