Police investigate sexual assault of girl, 16, on Skegness public trail

Police are searching for a man following reports he sexually assaulted a teenage girl on a public trail in Skegness.
Officers say the reported attack happened just before 8.30pm on 14 July close to a forested area known as King George’s Walk, near Highfields Caravan Park.
It involved a 16-year-old girl.
The suspect is being described as around 25-years-old, of a stocky build, approximately 5ft 5 inches tall, and with blond hair.
He was wearing a grey tracksuit top / hoodie and was riding a black electric scooter.
Officers say witnesses said he made off on the scooter from Burgh Road towards King George’s walk.
Anyone with information which could help the police investigation is being urged to call 101, quoting ‘Incident 553 of 14 July'.
