Residents have been evacuated after a gas main was ruptured following a crash in Boothby Graffoe near Lincoln.
Emergency services were called to Lincoln Road at around 9:44pm on Sunday after a single-vehicle collision. Police say the impact caused a gas main to rupture, with a cordon put in place while specialists deal with the incident.
Lincolnshire Police say they are working alongside gas engineers and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue to monitor the situation.
Nearby homes have been evacuated, and the A607 at the junction with the B1202 is expected to remain closed for some time.
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident,
