Police raid building producing counterfeit weight loss drugs near Sleaford

An organised crime group making and selling dangerous fake weight loss drugs in Lincolnshire has been hit by police and Trading Standards.

Officers raided a property near Sleaford, seizing thousands of doses, equipment and suspected chemicals used in illegal manufacturing.

The products, sold online and on social media, are unlicensed and can make people seriously ill.

No arrests have been made, but health officials are warning the public not to buy weight loss drugs from unverified sources and to report any suspicious activity to police.
