Police launch investigation after Waltham crash

A cyclist, in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries

Police in North Lincolnshire have launched an investigation following a crash in Waltham.

Officers attended the incident last Thursday (9 October) to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a cyclist on New Road.

The force says at around 9:20pm a cyclist had fallen on to the road between the junction of High Street and Kirk Gate and the driver of a grey Seat Ibiza has then allegedly collided with the cyclist when turning on to New Road.

Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 60-year-old man was taken to hospital to receive treatment to serious injuries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage.
